Introduction to Mentoring
This half-day workshop is an introduction to the process of mentoring that will be valuable for cadet or student nurses and midwives, or other health professional groups, develop a clear understanding of what mentoring involves, and what they should expect from a mentoring experience, whether as a mentor or mentee.
Learning outcomes: There are two intended outcomes:
- To expand participant understanding of good practice in mentoring and how it differs from other professional support processes.
- To guide participant decision-making on whether to participate in mentoring and in what capacity.
2018-2019 fees: $4,500 per workshop (all fees are GST exclusive).
Fees may need to increase depending on the workshop location and required travel costs for the co-facilitators.
Participant numbers: Minimum of 16 people and maximum of 20 people.
