Cultural safety and resilience
This half-day workshop provides an opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nurses and midwives – whether they are students, graduates or experienced professionals - to explore these three elements of their experience and potential.
1. To develop participant understanding of cultural safety and what it means to them.
2. To strengthen knowledge and skills in naming and unpacking the different forms of racism.
3. To identify existing self-care and resilience strategies, and potential new self-care and resilience strategies.
2018-2019 fees: $4,500 per workshop (all fees are GST exclusive).
Fees may need to increase depending on the workshop location and required travel costs for the co-facilitators.
Participant numbers: Minimum of 16 people and maximum of 20 people.
