This half-day workshop provides an opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nurses and midwives – whether they are students, graduates or experienced professionals - to explore these three elements of their experience and potential.
Who is the audience: For Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander students, graduates and early career professionals. This was designed for workplaces who have a graduate or transition to pathway program.
1. To develop participant understanding of cultural safety and what it means to them.
2. To strengthen knowledge and skills in naming and unpacking the different forms of racism.
3. To identify existing self-care and resilience strategies, and potential new self-care and resilience strategies.
