About the Place Based Grants Program
.
The Place-Based Grants Program is a small grants program to support community-led, regional and local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nursing and midwifery workforce development initiatives.

As described inthe Place Based Grants Guidelines, the program is intended to:

  • Enable locally identified workforce priorities
  • Strengthen local capacity, leadership and governance
  • Support culturally safe nursing and midwifery practice
  • Integrate national CATSINaM programs (e.g. Murra Mullangari, mentoring, leadership and governance training) into place-based delivery

Purpose of Information Sessions:

  • Learn more about the Place-Based Grants Program and how to apply
  • Find out more about applicant eligibility
  • Ask questions and receive guidance on your proposed project idea

Once you register for an information session, you will receive an Outlook calendar invitation containing the Microsoft Teams meeting link.
